오랜만에 들어간 유투브에 Coldplay 의 신곡이 올라와있다.
17일인가에 발표될 앨범 Viva la Vida 의 Viva la Vida를 MTV Movie Award 에서 부른 영상이다.
위의 영상을 보면 Chris Martin 이 힘겹게 노래를 부르고 있는 것을 들을 수 있다. 컨디션이 안좋았나?
재미있는것은 유투브에 링크된 영상들이었다.

자신들의 방법으로 다시 불러서 올린 것들이다. 이러한 것들을 Cover 라고 부르는 것같다.
UCC 의 활성화에 의해 생긴 신조어 인 것 같은데, 시간날때 위키피디아나 몇몇 곳을 찾아 봐야겟다.
결론은 위의 Original 영상보다 아래의 Cover Song 을 부른 Singer 가 더 잘부르는 것 같아보인다.
하지만 역시 Music 적인 면에선 위의 Original 곡이 월등하군. 위에 곡에서 들리는 청명한 종소리가
기분을 좋게 만든다. (가사에서 I hear Jerusalem bells are ringing 이란 부분이 있었군~)
그들의 예전과는 같은듯 다른느낌의 신곡 Viva la Vida . Feel so good~!

부시의 퇴임을 신나서 환호하는 듯한 그런 곡이란 생각이 드는군. 하여간 이분의 Sense 란…

좀더 찾다보니 이미 싱글곡이 웹상에 돌고 있었네. 또한 위의 가사는 프랑스의 루이16세에 관한 이야기라고
되어있네. 내 평소의 생각이 곡해석에 투영된 것이었나. 왜 위에처럼 생각했었을까. 신기한 일이군.
